Seretide Accuhaler Diskus 500/50 mcg delivers a high-strength combination of Fluticasone propionate 500 mcg and Salmeterol 50 mcg per dose via the easy-to-use Accuhaler device. This formulation is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of COPD in patients with FEV1 less than 60% predicted, and for severe asthma not adequately controlled on lower doses. Fluticasone provides powerful anti-inflammatory action in the airways, while Salmeterol ensures prolonged bronchodilation lasting at least 12 hours per dose. It is used twice daily for optimal respiratory control and should not replace short-acting rescue inhalers.
