Erastabex Co 40\/10 mg is a fixed-dose combination film-coated tablet containing Olmesartan medoxomil 40 mg and Amlodipine 10 mg. Olmesartan is an angiotensin II type 1 receptor blocker that reduces vascular resistance, while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes arterial smooth muscle. The synergistic action of these two complementary antihypertensive mechanisms produces greater blood pressure reductions than either agent used alone.
